Designed for owners preparing their dogs for assistance or support roles, this course focuses on the essential foundations every future assistance dog needs — calm focus, confidence in new environments, and strong handler engagement.
You’ll also learn the basic foundation skills for future assistance tasks, all taught using positive, reward-based methods. Whether your goal is to progress toward formal assistance training or simply nurture a well-mannered, dependable companion that can help you with tasks around the home and out and about, this course sets you and your dog up for success.
JANUARY COURSE
FRIDAY EVENINGS at Ryslip Kennels Training Barn in Binfield. 6.45 - 7.45
9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th January, 6th and 13th February
£155 for a 6 week course.
One hour group lesson each week, very comprehensive course notes
and a certificate of attendance.
